Performance of Hymn to Peace
Everyone is asking the same question: Will coming generations - our children and grandchildren - have a peaceful future Europe's
most successful writer of musicals, Michael Kunze, who generally works on Broadway, wrote the moving peace hymn entitled What's the Price of Peace" in English and German to
music composed by the well-Known composer of the Karl May melodies, Martin Böttcher from Lugano.
To present, the hymn, it was possible to engage the singer Folkert Klaassen, whose strong voice matches his profound emotional
interpretation of the work. Klaassen has become well known as being the only singer in history invited to perform in the German Bundestag
Impressed by this music and the song composed by the singer himself for suffering children entitled "Children's Eyes", the
Senate Commit ee of the current Mayor of Berlin has authorized the charity CD PEACE PLEASE to be given the original UNICEF BERLIN mark of recognition
Among several other honors, the multi-talented artist was presented with the Order of the Federal Republic of Germany for his
services to people in need of help, Under his stage title "The Gala Singer" Klaassen has performed successfully on the international stage in America, Dubai, France and Spain as
well as in Germany, for example a: the 'Concours DElegance" in Duesseldorf, at the North-Rhine Westphalia 50 th Anniversary celebrations, at the Press Anniversary in the
Ruhrlandhalle, the Karl May Festival in Bad Segeberg and in many TV shows. The hymn to love and peace entitled Friendship around the World composed by Folkert Klaassen
himself, Various musical styles are contained in this work within a short space, from opera up to contemporary "melodic- RAP.
The Peace CO has been issued to express the wish of all those participating for more peaceful cooperation through out the world,
and at the same time is an attempt to open people's hearts so that they are ready to give help to those who most urgently need it: helpless and suffering children in all parts of
the world. |
